Dear Rockers,

We are very excited to announce that we have added four amazing counselors to our Judas Priest camp-BUMBLEFOOT, STU HAMM, JOE VITALE and ROBERT SARZO!  All of these talented musicians will be spending 4 days with our campers, teaching master classes, hosting jam rooms, and preparing their camper bands for the live performances with Judas Priest!

BUMBLEFOOT Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal is an award-winning Multi-instrumentalist, Vocalist, Songwriter, Producer and World-renowned Guitar virtuoso, with over 20 years of releasing music, playing international festivals and headlining tours, and gracing magazine covers as a solo artist. As lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses (2006 – 2014) Bumblefoot toured sold-out shows all over the world, headlining festivals with crowds up to 150,000. Bumblefoot's unique 'fretless guitar' can be heard throughout GNR's 2008 Chinese Democracy album. Bumblefoot's recent Little Brother Is Watching album is an eccentric, upbeat collection of epic, modern rock with haunting melodies, huge choruses and witty lyrics about life in the digital age and beyond. The day after its release, the album went as high as #4 on the Amazon.com Rock charts in Europe.Bumblefoot's recent collaborations include rock group Art Of Anarchy (featuring vocalist Scott Weiland and Disturbed bassist John Moyer) and DMC (from the iconic rap group Run DMC) / Generation Kill.  He is also an accomplished composer whose music is often heard in TV, film and video games including the theme song to VH1's "That Metal Show"

STU HAMM known for his session and live work with numerous artists as well for his unconventional playing style and solo recordings. Hamm has performed and recorded with Steve VaiFrank GambaleJoe Satriani and many other well-respected guitarists. It was playing live on tour with Satriani that brought Hamm's skills to national attention. Subsequent recordings with Satriani and other rock/fusion artists, along with the release of his own solo recordings (featuring a.o. keyboard player Tommy Mars), solidified his reputation as a bassist and performer.

JOE VITALE is an American singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Vitale has played with many of the top names in music during a career dating back to the 1970s. His first national break came when Ted Nugent hired him to play drums in the Amboy Dukes in 1971. That fall Vitale was invited by his former Kent State classmate Joe Walsh to join Barnstorm, a new group being formed by Walsh in Colorado. The group recorded two albums together and Vitale and Walsh began a longtime partnership although Barnstorm broke up in 1974. He joined the Stills-Young Band for the Long May You Run sessions. Later, Vitale would be one of the musicians that Crosby, Stills & Nash record and tour with beginning with the CSN album and continuing until 2009. He has also co-produced and contributed songs to Crosby, Stills & Nash as well as to solo efforts by Stephen Stills and Graham Nash. Meanwhile, Vitale's longtime partner Walsh became part of the Eagles and Vitale became part of the Eagles' road band on drums and keyboards,The Walsh/Vitale song "Pretty Maids All in a Row" appears on the Eagles' album Hotel California. Among other artists with whom Vitale has appeared are Dan FogelbergPeter FramptonJohn Entwistle, and Zakk Wylde.  He is currently on tour with Joe Walsh.

ROBERT SARZO - His career has spanned 40 years. He has worked with an array of notable and iconic people in the entertainment industry. Robert has worked with Interscope/Universal Record's Jimmy Iovine and legendary metal producers, Bob Ezrin and Mike Clink. He also worked with Robert Stigwood of "Saturday Night Fever" and Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts" fame on numerous soundtracks. Robert formed his band Hurricane in the early 80's and went on to have hits such as "Over the Edge" and their #1 hit "I'm Onto You."  Not just a heavy metal/rock and roll guitarist with a classical background, Robert Sarzo has branched out to become a producer and movie music composer.Include the movies, "The Hiss", written and produced by David Lynch's daughter, Jennifer, and the 2009 wide-release "The Collector" written and produced by Marcus Dunstan writer of Saw 4, 5, & 6.Current projects are Hurricane, A Salute To Santana and his 80 Proof VuDu Blues band.

The MASTERS OF METAL camp has  been specially price and is a once in a lifetime opportunity to jam with three of hard rock and heavy metal's greatest musicians and members of iconic bands. The Godfather of Heavy Metal drumming-original member of legendary band BLACK SABBATH- Bill Ward, Michael Schenker of Scorpions and MSG fame and Glenn Hughes of DEEP PURPLE, along with our amazing counselors Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake) Bumblefoot (Guns N' Roses) Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath) Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner) Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper),Lita Ford (The Runaways) , Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder), Lez Warner (The Cult) and Kane Roberts (Alice Cooper).

If you ever dreamed of jamming with true heavy metal icons, this is your chance.  This is a once in a lifetime experience to spend time playing and learning from three of the biggest names in hard rock history.  Over the course of the camp, your band will have personal time with each of these masters, as well as the opportunity to ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask.  Along with meeting and jamming with these incredible talents, each band performs 2 nights at the infamous HOUSE OF BLUES at MANDALAY BAY.  This camp is not be missed by any metal fan, as this opportunity will not repeat itself.

Legendary figure in the history of metal guitar, Michael Schenker is best known for his tenure in UFO, in addition to his solo band. He first rose to fame as an early member of the Scorpions, then achieved fame in the mid-1970s as the lead guitar player for UFO.

Bill Ward needs no introduction. As the drummer of one of the most influential heavy metal bands in history, Ward was an integral force in the creation of the heavy metal genre.  Known as the Godfather Of Heavy Metal Drumming, he has inspired and influenced countless drummers who have followed. A sure moment of pride in Ward's life came in 2000 when he, along with his original band, was honored with a long overdue Grammy Award.

Master bass player, songwriter and vocalist Glenn Hughes, has remained one of heavy metals most revered artists. In 1973, Hughes joined Deep Purple. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes' calling card.

“It’s a life-changing experience for people that I see every time, it’s remarkable."   Bruce Kulick  (Grand Funk Railroad, KISS)
I always look forward to meeting and getting to watch the campers perform. Sometimes I don’t get to perform with them if there’s another bass player in the band in my camp but it’s their fantasy that’s what they’re there for and I’m there to mentor them. It’s very exciting to watch all these great musicians that come through either as special guests or rock groups. The ultimate experience is working with the campers.” Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake)
“It’s a great event and what’s cool about it just seeing the campers have a nice smile on their face and then just enjoying the whole camp and at the end getting something out of the camp; whether it’s learning how to play with the band or learning how to get along with the band we try to teach them the way we do things and the way we put a band together to make it work so it’s a pretty cool experience for the campers and for us too and we get the satisfaction of people having a great time and totally just enjoying the music all the stuff that goes along with it with rehearsal and all the work that they do, and then meeting the ‘big guns’ like Alice Cooper, Roger Daltrey and all that.”  Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath)
