Rudy Sarzo-Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp's 1st counselor to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp Hall of Fame, is one of the most well respected bass players in the industry. He has been a professional recording and performing artist worldwide for over 20 years. Tracii Guns-Tracii Guns is best known as the founder of glam metal group L.A. Guns, as well as the supergroups Brides of Destruction, Contraband and Devil City Angels. Tracii's first major adventure in music was in 1983 when he formed L.A. Guns. In 1985 Tracii formed a new band with Hollywood Rose frontman Axl Rose. They put the two band names together; Guns 'N' Roses was born, but they both finally went separate ways and Tracii rejoined L.A. Guns.In 1993 Tracii participated in the supergroup Contraband with Michael Schenker (Scorpions, UFO), Bobby Blotzer (Ratt), Share Pedersen (Vixen), and Richard Black (Shark Island). The band released only one self-titled album in 1991.In late 2002 Tracii decided to join Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx to create the project Brides of Destruction, signing on as lead guitarist.Devil City Angels is a rock supergroup consisting of guitarist Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns), drummer Rikki Rockett (Poison), bassist Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake) and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Brandon Gibbs (Cheap Thrill). The band's debut album is due in Spring 2015.Tracii is currently in a new band GUNZO, featuring himself, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake), Michael O’Mara and Shane Fitzgibbon.
Frankie Banali-His hard hitting, deep pocket, heavy rock drumming was a mainstay of the 80's LA rock scene, but Frankie Banali the person and the drummer goes much deeper than the grooves he plays with Quiet Riot, W.A.S.P. or any number of bands you may have heard him with. Citing early influences including Ringo and Charlie Watts, Frankie got heavier via the influence of John Bonham, then deeper into technique through the likes of Terry Bozzio and other progressive players. This combination of influences set him up nicely for session work with everyone from Billy Idol ('Mony, Mony) and guitar whizz Gary Hoey, to Billy Thorpe, Monarch, and super-duo Glenn Hughes and Pat Thrall on their classic 'Hughes/Thrall' album. Still today the track 'Hold Out Your Life' is one of the best written and most exciting tracks that I have had the pleasure to be a part of,' says Frankie. It's also a great example of Frankie's ability to drive a tune through all its dynamic variations and still make it rock mercilessly. It's what he does with his longtime, band Quiet Riot. Through hits like 'Cum On Feel The Noize' and albums including Metal Health, he has added something more personal than just a big drum sound. Vinny Appice-Vinny has created the rhythm and power (live and in the studio) for the music of DIO, Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, WWIII, Axis, Rick Derringer, John Lennon and more. He has co-written and recorded songs on over 25 albums including many multi-platinum records. Vinny has toured the world for over 20 years selling millions of records. His unique and powerful drumming style can also be heard on numerous movie soundtracks including; Wayne's World 2, Heavy Metal, Iron Eagle and Bedazzled. He has authored an instruction drumming book and DVD, and has performed incredible powerhouse drum clinics around the world. Kane Roberts-Kane was discovered by Bob Ezrin (Kiss. Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd) and became Alice´s guitarist/writing partner for two albums and two world tours including the infamous "The Nightmare Returns" tour. Kane´s experience in the entertainment industry includes recording for high profile companies that include Geffen, Capitol, A&M and MCA. As a solo recording artist he´s landed Top 40 hits at Geffen Records and MCA. He wrote and performed 2 albums / 2 world tours with ALICE COOPER and he wrote "TAKE IT OFF" for KISS’ REVENGE ALBUM with Paul Stanley, recorded with ROD STEWART / BERLIN / VIV CAMPBELL / MICHAEL ANTHONY and many others. He also wrote on soundtracks for FRIDAY THE 13th V / PRINCE OF DARKNESS (John carpenter) and other films. Teddy Andreadis-Teddy (Zig Zag) has gained a reputation as a rock-solid keyboardist, a wailing harmonica player, a soulful singer, B3 player and an insightful musical arranger. Teddy has toured and shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, including: Carole King, Guns 'n' Roses, Roger Daltrey, Jeff Skunk Baxter, Alice Cooper, Slash, Nikki Sixx, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, BB King and Michael Jackson. He also appears on the Guns 'n' Roses "Use Your Illusion" Live 2-DVD set, and most recently played on Velvet Revolver's latest CD. Teddy's own CD, "Innocent Loser," was received with wide acclaim. He continues to tour with the greats and conducts a weekly jam session in Hollywood at the Baked Potato with his band The Screaming Cocktail Hour. Vic Johnson-Vic Johnson grew up with music and was influenced by Jimi Hendrix. He soon began playing guitar and played in several bands throughout high school around the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Originally from Security, Colorado, he moved to Los Angeles, California in the 1980s to enter the Hollywood club scene, and he soon joined The BusBoys, a predominantly African-American rock band. The band appeared on the film "48 Hours", performed on Saturday Night Live, and recorded several albums with Arista Records. Johnson also took on several side projects during this decade including Sound Barrier, an all-black heavy metal band which was to sign with MCA in the middle of the 1980s. Sound Barrier evolved into Total Eclipse, which recorded for Taboo/A&M Records, and played clubs like the Whisky A Go Go and the FM Station in Hollywood and toured across the country. During the 1990s Vic became a session musician, but in 1997 he auditioned for Sammy Hagar's new band, and soon joined Sammy on the Marching to Mars world tour. Johnson continues to tour with members of Hagar's Waboritas and others. Bjorn Englen -Bjorn Englen moved to Los Angeles from Sweden in March of 1993 and 18 months later landed the gig as the bass player for the multi-platinum selling Heavy Metal phenomenon QUIET RIOT, the first Heavy Metal group to reach No. 1 album on Billboard. Bjorn did a US tour with the band in 1995 performing 22 concerts as well as pre-production and promotion for the 1995 album release "Down To The Bone". In 2004 Bjorn joined forces with MSG/Survivor vocalist ROBIN McAULEY and did several shows through out the US until 2006. In January of 2007 Bjorn played a show, without any rehearsals, at NAMM in Anaheim, CA with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, which resulted in five years of world tours with the guitar legend. .Since 2011 Bjorn is working with guitar/keyboard virtuoso TONY MACALPINE (Solo, Planet X, Steve Vai, PSMS) with whom he has toured all over Europe, US and Mexico. In September of 2012 Bjorn also joined the official DIO band DIO DISCIPLES (featuring DIO members Wright, Goldy & Warren) and has since then toured with the group all over North- and South America. He occasionally (since 2010) also plays with Scorpions guitar legend ULI JON ROTH. In fact in 2011 Bjorn was concurrently working with three of the biggest guitar gods of all time!Bjorn has through the years of his career spent a lot of time educating upcoming bass players and musicians. He has done numerous clinics & master classes worldwide as well as taught at several reputable schools along with years of private instruction. He is a sought after session bassist and estimates to have performed on over 50 albums and played nearly 2000 live shows. Brian Tichy-Since 1990, Tichy has managed to tour and/or record with the likes of: Geoff Tate's Queensryche (2013-2014) Whitesnake (2010-2013), Foreigner ('98-'00, '09-10), Billy Idol ('01-'09, also was Idol's writing partner from '04-'09), Ozzy Osbourne (2000), Lynch Mob (2010), Tooth And Nail, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, The Guess Who, Michael Schenker, Velvet Revolver, Seether, Zakk Wylde's Pride & Glory, Slash's Snakepit, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Glenn Hughes, Sass Jordan, Gilby Clarke, Nicklebag (Stevie Salas, Bernard Fowler, Carmine Rojas), Vinnie Moore and Zebra frontman Randy Jackson's 2nd band China Rain.Since Sept. Gary Hoey-World renowned rock guitarist Gary Hoey takes on the Blues with his new album, "Deja Blues," to be released Nov 2012 on Wazoo Music Group. "This is an album of original blues songs I've wanted to record for a long time. The Blues has always been near and dear to my heart, I have so much respect for it. When I'm recording a blues song, it's a 5 minute journey and you can't take a breath, you can't keep punching in the recording button to fix stuff or it loses the vibe."Hoey recently produced and co-wrote The Queen Of Metal Lita Ford's latest release "Living Like Runaway" for SPV records to rave reviews, "It was a thrill to work with Lita she is a true rocker a pioneer for woman in rock, and she's a great guitar player".With a collection of 18 albums and a #5 Billboard Rock hit with "Hocus Pocus" it's no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Gary's clients have included Walt Disney films, ESPN, New Line Cinema, and scoring the Roller Coaster "California Screaming" songs placed in "Office Space", "Deck The Halls" with Danny Devito, Beethoven III (The dog movie) Endless Summer II full score.Hoey has toured and traded licks with the likes of Jeff Beck, Brian May of Queen, Ted Nugent, Joe Satriani, The Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, Styx, Steve Vai, Peter Frampton, and Dick Dale. and more to be announced!
