The Godfather of Heavy Metal drumming-original member of legendary band BLACK SABBATH- Bill Ward, Michael Schenker of Scorpions and MSG fame and Glenn Hughes of DEEP PURPLE, along with our amazing counselors Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake) Bumblefoot (Guns N' Roses) Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath) Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner) Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper),Lita Ford (The Runaways) , Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder), Lez Warner (The Cult) and Kane Roberts (Alice Cooper).

If you ever dreamed of jamming with true heavy metal icons, this is your chance.  This is a once in a lifetime experience to spend time playing and learning from three of the biggest names in hard rock history.  Over the course of the camp, your band will have personal time with each of these masters, as well as the opportunity to ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask.  Along with meeting and jamming with these incredible talents, each band performs 2 nights at the infamous HOUSE OF BLUES at MANDALAY BAY.  This camp is not be missed by any metal fan, as this opportunity will not repeat itself.

Legendary figure in the history of metal guitar, Michael Schenker is best known for his tenure in UFO, in addition to his solo band. He first rose to fame as an early member of the Scorpions, then achieved fame in the mid-1970s as the lead guitar player for UFO.

Bill Ward needs no introduction. As the drummer of one of the most influential heavy metal bands in history, Ward was an integral force in the creation of the heavy metal genre.  Known as the Godfather Of Heavy Metal Drumming, he has inspired and influenced countless drummers who have followed. A sure moment of pride in Ward's life came in 2000 when he, along with his original band, was honored with a long overdue Grammy Award.

Master bass player, songwriter and vocalist Glenn Hughes, has remained one of heavy metals most revered artists. In 1973, Hughes joined Deep Purple. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes' calling card.

“It’s a life-changing experience for people that I see every time, it’s remarkable."   Bruce Kulick  (Grand Funk Railroad, KISS)
I always look forward to meeting and getting to watch the campers perform. Sometimes I don’t get to perform with them if there’s another bass player in the band in my camp but it’s their fantasy that’s what they’re there for and I’m there to mentor them. It’s very exciting to watch all these great musicians that come through either as special guests or rock groups. The ultimate experience is working with the campers.” Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake)
“It’s a great event and what’s cool about it just seeing the campers have a nice smile on their face and then just enjoying the whole camp and at the end getting something out of the camp; whether it’s learning how to play with the band or learning how to get along with the band we try to teach them the way we do things and the way we put a band together to make it work so it’s a pretty cool experience for the campers and for us too and we get the satisfaction of people having a great time and totally just enjoying the music all the stuff that goes along with it with rehearsal and all the work that they do, and then meeting the ‘big guns’ like Alice Cooper, Roger Daltrey and all that.”  Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath)
