You can spend the day in the recording studio with Michael Bradford, the producer of TWO DEEP PURPLE albums, or Bob Marlette, producer of MARILYN MANSON, FILTER, ROB ZOMBIE and more!
We are thrilled to welcome back world renown producer Bob Marlette to the upcoming February 16-19, 2017 camp featuring Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez of Alice in Chains and Robert and Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots!
As a session player/song writer, Bob Marlette worked with Tracy Chapman, Laura Branigan, Wilson Phillips, Rick Springfield, Sheryl Crow and many others. In the late 80’s he worked with Gregg Rolie from Journey which introduced me to Neal Schon enabling him to produce his solo record "Late Night".
After this period he had the privilege of working with an 18 yr old John 5 via his band “Red Square Black”. This seems to be the launching pad for his eventual immersion into rock. Suddenly Rob Halford and Black Sabbath are calling him to produce their records. He has been able to create a style and approach that worked for many of the staples of modern rock- Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Tony Iommi/Glenn Hughes, Saliva, Seether, Shinedown, Filter, Rob Zombie, Airborne, Anvil, Blackstone Cherry and many many others.”
At the upcoming March 2-5, 2017 camp featuring Ian Paice, Steve Morse, Glenn Hughes and Mark Farner, we welcome multi-platinum producer/engineer Michale Bradford!
In 2002, Michael Bradford was invited to see Deep Purple at one of their concerts in England. Upon arriving, Michael met the band and was presented with the opportunity to produce their next album. After the tour ended, Michael and the band set up camp in Los Angeles, to write and record the album Bananas, which was released in 2003. Reviews were positive, with Prog Archives Magazine commenting that Michael "proves himself to be a good songwriter, not just a great producer"The "Bananas" Tour went on to being a very successful run for the band, and Michael appeared onstage with Deep Purple several times during the promotion of the album.
In 2005, Deep Purple reconvened with Michael to record their next album, Rapture of the Deep. This album was recorded at Michael's private studio in Tarzana, California. The result was an album that caused the BBC to report, "lengthy jams, heavy riffs, chugging basslines, and waves of deliciously smoking Hammond organ signal an intent within the Purple camp. They're back, and they are on form".The Rapture of the Deep tour found the band circling the globe yet again, and once again, Michael joined them on stage periodically, culminating in a 2006 performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the site first mentioned in Deep Purple's classic song "Smoke on the Water".
Michael Bradford is a multi-platinum producer and songwriter, having produced work for a diverse group of artists, ranging from Deep Purple to Anita Baker to Kid Rock, and from Stevie Nicksto Beth Hart. Michael’s songwriting catalog includes several hits for Uncle Kracker, including his global smash “Follow Me”, which Michael also co-produced.
Spend the day in the recording studio with one of these incredible producers. Learn the ins-and-outs of recording from these masters, and you will also receive a digital recording to share with all your friends and family!

RRFC REVIEW OF THE DAY:
Both the Lucky Strike and Whiskey performance opportunities were incredible. I gotta tell ya -- It’s not a “fantasy” camp --- it doesn’t get any more real than getting to be on the Whiskey stage with Phil, Paul and great bandmates. I hope you continue to provide these camps for another 20 years.-RANDAL R
