Attention Songwriters: A Camp Just For You!

Dear Rock Stars, We’re thrilled with your response to our Songwriting Camp that’s running alongside our Summer Fantasy Camp. Many of you have written songs throughout the years, maybe never finished them or just need that extra touch added to it and now is your chance! Participants in this camp will spend time and pitch their songs to all of our Grammy award winning special guests and amazing rock star counselors including: Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Warren DiMartini (RATT), George Lynch (Dokken), Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addicition), Stu Hamm, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot),Vinny Appice (Dio) and so many more.   We will be featuring so many talented songwriters  throughout the four day including our main producer and head counselor Joe Vitale will be joined by Jack Tempchin who has written "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and co-writing their hits "Already Gone", "The Girl From Yesterday," "Somebody," and "It's Your World Now." for the Eagles. Plus a few surprise guests will appear during the camp. This is your chance to get critiqued by the masters, improve your songs, learn the best way to pitch your songs and even have the chance to pitch your songs to all the special guest rockers and counselors.  On Satuday and Sunday evening, you will have the opportunity to perform your songs live at the House of Blues. Throughout camp and during the meals, we will be inviting our songwriters to perform. If you’re not into performing and just want the experience of writing music and lyrics, that is also okay, the choice is yours.  This is one opportunity and Fantasy Camp you won’t want to miss!  Included in the Songwriting Camp is: How to start a song from a melody or chord changes. Get ready to rock out with the BEST OF THE BEST! Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp is bringing in your all time favorite Rock Stars for a special Summer Edition of Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp featuring Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Warren DeMartini (RATT),George Lynch (Dokken), Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), and Stu Hamm. Special guests are set to participate in master classes and jam with campers. This camp will take place in Las Vegas on Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 3, 2014. In this 4-day Summer Fantasy Camp, you will be placed in a band with your Rock Star Counselor and work side by side with the greatest rockers. During the camp, our Rock Star Counselors, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), Vinny Appice (Dio/Black Sabbath), andTeddy Andreadis (Guns n Roses) to name a few, will mentor campers to finely tune musical abilities, help you stage presence, rock star stances, participate in Q&A sessions, and will also share inside stories about their time on the road with your favorite stars. The four-day camp will culminate with two nights of performances with Rock Star Counselors atHouse of Blues inside Crossroads on The Courtyard Stage at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp is also simultaneously hosting a once in a lifetime event: Songwriting Camp with Jack Tempchin (Eagles) and Joe Vitale (Joe Walsh/CSN). Songwriting Camp will take place at the same time as our Summer Edition Fantasy Camp, July 31 to August 3. Participants will indulge in the creative side of songwriting with lyrics, melody, versus and chorus, learn the ins and outs of publishing and protecting your material, and how to pitch songs to artists. Participants in the Songwriting Camp will get to meet all special guests and counselors throughout the camp, attend master classes, and get the option to perform their written song live on stage at House of Blues. This package includes all the same guests as the Summer Fantasy Camp, but with a personalized songwriting experience.
