1976, Deep Purple split up at the end of an UK tour. David Coverdale went on to form Whitesnake, Jon Lord and Ian Paice formed a band with Tony Ashton. The classic line up of Blackmore, Gillan, Glover, Lord & Paice reformed in 1984. Glenn Hughes returned to Trapeze and Tommy Bolin put together his own band, (but would die before the end of the year).

 Dear Rockers, DON'T FORGET MOTHER'S DAY and FATHER'S DAY! Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp is the perfect gift for the music lover in your life. Give the gift of music to your mom or dad and make them a rock star! Are you just starting to learn to play an instrument or have always wanted to learn to play an instrument? What about learning to write songs, or be a vocalist? In addition to our headliner packages for the intermediate to advanced players, we have packages that are just for you! BEGINNER 101 - Our Beginner 101 package consists of private lessons, master classes, and a program customized just for beginners. We will access your abilities to make sure you progress in a manner where you are comfortable but leave camp a better player, with more knowledge and confidence then when you arrived. With the help and guidance from our incredible rock star counselors and headliners, you will be ready to rock for your live performance! SONGWRITERS - If you have ever wanted to learn how to write a song, or if you have songs that you have already written but havent finished or need help with, our songwriter package is just what you are looking for. Your counselor is an award winning professional songwriter who has written for many artists, television shows and movies. They will help you and work with you on your current songs, you will write new songs, learn about publishing, and getting your songs to an artist, in movies or commercials. You will have the opportunity to ask our headliners what inspires them to write a song, how they wrote some of their iconic hits and so much more. VOCALISTS - Do you sing in the shower but wish you were singing on stage? Our vocal package, lead by a professional vocalist who has toured the world and released several albums, will have you fully prepared for all of your camp performances. You will have the opportunity to sing lead and background for our camper bands, sing for our headliners, sing during our counselor jams and much more!
