When you sign up for the RECORDING PACKAGE at our upcoming David Crosby/Ginger Baker Camp, Nov 5-8, 2015 in Los Angeles CA, you will spend the day at 17 Hertz Studio, where Metallica recorded the BLACK ALBUM, and your song will be recorded and produced by the infamous EDDIE KRAMER.

In the course of a production and engineering career that has spanned 30 years, Eddie Kramer has been behind the boards for the biggest names in music - The Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton, Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter, David Bowie, The Beatles and Bad Company, just to name a few. But he is perhaps best known for three long-term associations in which he not only helped create some of the most important music of the rock era, but also set standards for rock production that set him aside as a true innovator. His work with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Kiss produced music which continues to influence rock musicians and producers today.

17 Hertz Studio in North Hollywood has been utilized by such artist as Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty, Sammy Hagar, Alice in Chains and many more. Previously called One On One Recording, the studio was highly recognized for Metallica’s 16x platinum Black Album, which was recorded in full at this facility. Two documentaries captured great visuals of Metallica at One On One, A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica and Classic Albums: Metallica – The Black Album.
