Our bass player counselors are:
Rudy Sarzo-Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp's 1st counselor to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp Hall of Fame, is one of the most well respected bass players in the industry. As a member of Ozzy Osbourne's band, from March 1981 to September 1982, Rudy toured the world in support of the "Blizzard of Ozz" and "Diary Of a Madman" records. His bass playing can be heard on Ozzy's multimillion selling CD "Tribute" and "Speak of the Devil" CD and DVD.As a member of Quiet Riot, from September 1982 to January 1985, Rudy recorded the multi-platinum albums "Metal Health", the first Heavy Metal debut to reach #1 on the Billboard charts. As a member of Whitesnake, from April 1987 to September 1994, Rudy recorded the multi-platinum album "Slip of the Tongue". During this period Rudy also performed worldwide on headline tours in support of the multiplatinum "1987" and "Slip of the Tongue" albums and appeared on 6 MTV videos.
Tony Franklin-Known as the "Fretless Monster", Tony Franklin has played alongside some of the greatest names in music history. He got his big break in 1984 as bassist in stellar supergroup The Firm, with guitar legend Jimmy Page, vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Chris Slade (AC/DC, Manfred Mann's Earth Band). After two hit albums and extensive touring with The Firm, Franklin subsequently performed with Blue Murder (John Sykes, Carmine Appice), David Gilmour, Kate Bush, Whitesnake, Roy Harper, Pat Travers, Tony McAlpine, Gary Hoey, Donna Lewis, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Vasco Rossi, Eros Ramazzotti and many others. An in-demand session bass ace, he has appeared on more than 150 albums.  Franklin joined Kenny Wayne Shepherd's band, and has toured extensively throughout the world.
Phil Soussan-In the early 80's Phil was selected by Simon Kirke of Bad Company, for his band "Wildlife".  Phil was selected by Ozzy Osbourne to join his band and started work on the Ultimate Sin album. He ended up contributing a song that would later become Ozzy's biggest selling single to date - "Shot in the Dark". The Ultimate Sin was a huge sell out tour that went all over the world, but halfway through the follow up album Phil left to work with Billy Idol on his Charmed Life album. In 1997 he began working with Toto's Steve Lukather on his third solo album "Luke". Phil wrote half of that record, following that up with tour dates as far as the Far East and Europe. As a result of that collaboration Phil wrote the opening cut on the "Mindfields" album for Toto, entitled "After You're Gone", the song was nominated for a Grammy.
Bjorn Englen -In 1993 Bjorn became the bass player for the multi-platinum selling Heavy Metal phenomenon QUIET RIOT. Bjorn did a US tour with the band in 1995 performing 22 concerts. In 2004 Bjorn joined forces with MSG/Survivor vocalist ROBIN McAULEY and did several shows through out the US until 2006. In 2007 Bjorn joined YNGWIE MALMSTEEN's band , which resulted in five years of world tours with the guitar legend. Since 2011 Bjorn is working with guitar/keyboard virtuoso TONY MACALPINE (Solo, Planet X, Steve Vai, PSMS) with whom he has toured all over Europe, US and Mexico. Bjorn also joined the official DIO band DIO DISCIPLES (featuring DIO members Wright, Goldy & Warren) and has since then toured with the group all over North- and South America. He  also plays with Scorpions guitar legend ULI JON ROTH.
