Dear Rock Stars, I would first like to thank Vegas.com for making Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp the ‘Number One Rock and Roll Attraction in Las Vegas’. I’d like to thank our partner, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, and everyone who has contributed to making Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp hit number one in just one year since being in Las Vegas.

We have received amazing responses to our newest camp: "Rock’s Rhythm Masters powered by Modern Drummer Magazine" featuring Waddy Wachtel, Leland Sklar, Danny Kortchmar, Russ Kunkel, Hal Blaine, John JR Robinson and Jim Keltner. cWhile these brilliant musicians may not be household names, they are considered some of the greatest and well-respected musicians within the industry. Bring along your band mates or ride solo to play with the masters in this program. Beginners and novices are more than welcome. Don't sweat it if you haven't played in a group. David Fishof, RRFC Founder & May Pang, author of "Loving John" Last week we had a very special guest in our office, May Pang. May had been John Lennon’s assistant for many years, assisting him from in the studio to day-to-day life. May has an extensive background in music publishing, as she was involved in not only John Lennon’s career, but also many other influential artists. May will be joining us at The Fab Faux Fantasy Camp as a special guest speaker. We look forward to seeing you there. Camper: Rudy, I really want to give the camp a try but I don't get to play as often as I would like and I'm nervous about not being able to keep up. How advanced do I need to be to participate in a camp? Rudy: Every counselor’s mission is to help the campers reconnect with their musical identity. I've met a few campers who arrive at RRFC feeling disconnected from their musician identity. These are campers who at one time in their lives had aspirations to become professional musicians and then they graduate from college and become doctors, lawyers etc. Then years later they rekindle their passion to play again and it is our responsibility as counselors to help them reconnect with their musician identity. I always like to share with all my campers that being a musician is an art form, a language and should be enjoyed by everyone not just the few of us who make a living out of it. I truly believe that all human beings are born to play a musical instrument be it the voice, a guitar, piano whatever gives us the ultimate pleasure of making music. It is incredibly rewarding to have my campers go back home and start or join local bands reconnected with their musician identity. RRFC: Rudy, tell us something about being in Ozzy's band that would surprise us. Rudy: Well, Ozzy is a huge Beatles fan so he used to sit around on the tour bus and sing his favorite Beatle songs for us. He has the uncanny ability to take a romantic song such as "Yesterday" and make it sound dark and evil with just the eerie sound of his voice.
